Biography
Kevin M. Pope (“Kevin”) is B.E. Blank & Company’s Managing Director of Institutional Capital, where he leads the firm’s capital raising and investor relations efforts.
Prior to joining B.E. Blank & Company, Kevin worked as Director of Institutional Asset Management at PNC Bank and led institutional business development efforts for the Mid-Atlantic and South regions where he helped grow institutional assets to greater than $200 billion. While at PNC, Kevin was a top 10% business development officer at the bank. Before PNC, Kevin spent five years at Earnest Partners in institutional sales and business development where he helped grow the firm’s assets from $20 billion to over $40 billion during his tenure and was individually responsible for raising over $2 billion in new client assets and managing over $6 billion in client relationships. At Earnest, Kevin was also responsible for leading the firm’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) product suite and sales efforts.
Previously, Kevin worked for a boutique investment bank where he focused on mergers & acquisitions in financial services. Upon graduation from Yale, Kevin helped start an education company based out of San Francisco, where he grew their west coast operations before moving to Japan and eventually Singapore to open and mange the company’s Asia operations and ultimately lead the divestiture of the Asian division.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University where he majored in Economics. While at Yale, he was a four-year letterman of the varsity soccer team where he led the team in scoring his sophomore year. He previously held Series 63 and 79 licenses with FINRA and is a candidate for CFA level II. On the weekends, Kevin enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three kids.
